The Forge Difference

YES! Everything from the CAD design, CNC Plasma cutting, Press Brake Folding, Welding, Wiring and Assembly is done by the team at Forge at our Gold Coast shop. Which is why we are proud to offer our customers a 10-year structural/workmanship warranty on majority of our products.

Since all our products are made to order, we don’t keep stock on the shelves. Typically, you can expect a turnaround of about 8-12 weeks for a Tray, Canopy, or Chassis Mount Canopy build. This allows us sufficient time for design, manufacturing, powder coating, and assembly.

As we often book out 4-6 months in advance, we recommend planning ahead to ensure you get what you need on time!

All of our Trays and Canopies are crafted from various grades of aluminium, depending on the application. Combined with Steel tray mounts to enhance lightweight durability while maintaining strength. 

A Chassis Mount Canopy is a canopy that bolts straight onto the chassis rails of your vehicle.

If you have no real need for taking the canopy on and off frequently then we would generally recommend one of these. These will save you a lot in overall weight & a bit of coin too!

Some accessories are available in a raw finish but are not guaranteed to be scratch free.

Unfortunately, we don't provide our trays or canopies in a raw finish, as we prioritise delivering a high-quality finish, and opting for a raw finish may lead to scratching of the aluminium.

We do not offer any checker plate options.

Canopy length is completely up to you. However, all of our Trays are pre-designed to suit your specific vehicle. The biggest thing we consider is how much weight you are putting behind the rear axle (less is better).

With this being said, we still overlook each build and recommend what is best suited to your car.
